Did you already eat it? CDC says to call a healthcare provider if you have a fever and other symptoms. Those can include feeling tired and sore muscles. Tell the provider what you ate. Listeria symptoms to watch for

Listeria monocytogenes is a germ that can make people very sick. The recall notice says it can cause serious infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weak immune systems. Some of these infections can be fatal. The notice also says it can cause miscarriages and stillbirths among pregnant women.

CDC says some people have a higher risk. They are pregnant women, newborns, people 65 or older, and people with weak immune systems.

CDC says signs of serious illness usually start within 2 weeks of eating the food. In people who aren't pregnant, signs can include a fever and feeling like they have the flu. Other signs are headache, stiff neck, confusion, loss of balance and seizures.

Pregnant women usually have mild signs, like a fever or feeling like they have the flu. Some never have symptoms at all. Even so, CDC says the infection usually does serious harm. That can mean a miscarriage or stillbirth. It can also mean a baby born too early, or a newborn with a life-threatening infection.

Also recalled for Listeria: Member's Mark Freeze-Dried Fruit at Sam's Club and bettergoods Lemon Alfredo Fettuccine at Walmart.
